Nestled in the Courtice Flea Market, the Courtice Canteen is a true gem owned by two of the most kind-hearted, dedicated people. The menu is incredibly affordably priced with delicious high-quality items and ingredients.
I had the chicken club with a poutine (made with REAL cheese curds, yummy gravy and hand cut crispy, golden fries !!). The chicken was so mouth-wateringly juicy and crispy and flavourful- I am salivating just thinking about it.
Practically everything is made in-house from scratch, including a bacon jam that is out of this world.
Everything I had was just delicious. You will not be disappointed.”

“This place is so delicious that I wish I could eat there any day of the week! Their Canteen chicken club is what dreams are made of. The breading on the chicken is excellent, and the chicken is so moist, I can't wait to have more of their chicken menu items! I would eventually love to try everything on the menu, but they have specials every weekend that I just can't resist. James and Charlene give great service and I wish they were my personal chefs.
Do yourself a favour and give this gem in the Courtice Flea Market a chance”
